The infamous duo got back into the spotlight when James Wan rediscovered them and built a veritable horror franchise around their work. W rzeczywistości na szczęście nie doszło do ataku złych sił, ale Judy Warren wyznała, że lalka przeraża ją do tej już kobieta z przerażeniem w oczach opowiada o nawiedzonej lalce z filmu - trzeba przyznać, że to robi naprawdę upiorne wrażenie. Warren opowiedziała w materiale, że chociaż jako dziecko nie wiedziała o profesji swoich rodziców, doskonale pamięta pokój, do którego nie mogła wchodzić pod żadnym pozorem.
